Who’s Right? Experts Warn Pandemic Could Last Months/Years

Recently Nobel Laureate and Standford biopysicist Michael Levitt stated that the Coronavirus pandemic could be ending. Other experts argue that no country has an exit strategy for dealing with the pandemic, and that it could last for a few more months or even years.

So who’s right?

The most important thing I think all of us can do is to look at the data on both sides. One of the things I looked at is the number of cases. Currently, there are about 500,000 cases worldwide. That’s out of a worldwide population of over seven billion. That means that 0.00007142857% of the world’s population has shown signs of the disease.

It’s not enough to be a carrier though. Of those who actually contracted the disease, only about three percent have died. The rest, 97 percent, have either recovered or still have it.

Regardless of what you think of the numbers, I believe that the worst thing anyone can do is panic. Knowledge is power when that knowledge is rooted in the truth. So the best thing you can do at this point is to educate yourselves, take reasonable precautions, and focus on what you can do for yourselves.

Michael Levitt, a Nobel laureate and Stanford biophysicist, said earlier this week that the COVID-19 pandemic could be nearing an end as he cited China’s curve flattening to support his hypothesis. Other experts have said there is no clear endpoint, and the virus crisis could be around for months, or even years. “No Country Has An Exit Strategy” – Experts Warn Virus Disruptions Could Last Months, Years

I’m not a conspiracy theorist. I believe in evaluating the evidence. So make sure you watch the interview below and draw your own conclusions.
